Sensitive Data with Dropbox
Click Unlink This Dropbox. This signs you out of Dropbox. A login screen will appear in case you want to sign in to another account. To re-link your Dropbox to Windows, click the icon, then enter your login information to sign in. I have setup a new login for dropbox and downloaded the app to my Windows 10 laptop. Unfortunately when I access dropbox on my laptop it shows files related to an old id, there is no icon on the system tray. Please advise me what I need to do. With much thanks.
U-M's agreement with Dropbox includes a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), which means you may use it to maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) regulated by HIPAA. HIPAA compliance is a shared responsibility. You are expected to comply with HIPAA requirements in your use of Dropbox at U-M. For details and a list of sensitive data types permitted for use with Dropbox, see Sensitive Data Guide: Dropbox at U-M.

Dropbox allows you to synchronize data in the cloud and on your devices. If you store and synchronize data in locations other than the Dropbox cloud storage, you will also need to follow any sensitive data restrictions for the devices and storage locations to which you synchronize. Smart Sync allows you to choose folders that are cloud only. See How to use selective sync for instructions on making any folders with sensitive data cloud only.
